Andrew was out of town for work all labor day weekend long, so I enjoyed the last weekend of summer at home. These pictures are actually from a couple weekends ago when Andrew and I both were able to get time off to visit friends, Jenn and Eric, in Calgary. Check out the first half of our trip spent downtown CalgaryΒ here.

Above are the photos from the second half of the trip: the glamping part. There are some key things about glamping,

One, no tents are allowed. A tipi is ok. But 5th wheels and motorhomes are best… helloooo real bed!!

Two, ATVs, go-karts and other automotive recreational vehicles are a must. Even if I drove them realllllyyyy slowly. Safety first.

And three, camp fires are only to be used for warmth. All other food is cooked on a portable BBQ from Costco. Luxury!!!

I haven’t done a lot of camping, but I’ve decided I love glamping… especially in Alberta.
