Lynn Valley Park: Vancouver’s other suspension bridge

We had a fantastic long easter weekend. Our friends Jen and Eric came over to visit from Calgary. We met Jen in university and she just happens to be a bridesmaid in our wedding (part two) next summer.

We took the couple and our friend Tylor (who also tagged along) to the suspension bridge in Lynn Valley Park in the North Vancouver.  Most visitors and tourists in Vancouver will be told to visit the Capilano Suspension bridge; a tourist park where it costs you $30 for admission. But the suspension bridge in Lynn Valley Park is the locals’ best kept secret because it’s basically the same thrills for FREE! And we love saving money.

But I have to say the coolest part about the park wasn’t the famous suspension bridge but was the awe-inspiring natural beauty of the park itself once you crossed the bridge. It makes me remember I live in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
I couldn’t help myself from taking a billion photographs. Here are some of my favorites…
